Diabetes course being offered to county citizens

Texas AgriLife Extension Service - Nueces County, has partnered with the Nueces County Commissioners Court, the Texas AgriLlife Extension Service - Expanded Nutrition Program in Nueces County, and Wesley Nurse Health Ministries to offer Do Well, Be Well with Diabetes for Nueces County residents.

Do Well, Be Well with Diabetes is a series of nine classes taught by a registered dietician and registered nurses. These classes are designed to teach people with Type 2 diabetes how to better manage their diabetes and keep blood glucose in ranges recommended by the American Diabetes Association.
