The Corpus Christi Symphony Orchestra is celebrating a sold out concert and a record breaking ticket sales total for their much anticipated Touch of Frozen Frost Holiday concert.

“We have broken an all-time record in sales with this concert,” said Executive Director, Lynn Haueter.

Saturday’s pre-concert entertainment began at 6:30 p.m. in the lobby of the Texas A&M Corpus Christi Performing Arts Center. Concert started at 7:30 p.m.

The symphony was conducted by Paul Haas, grandson of longtime Corpus Christi residents Paul and Mary Haas. The concert featured music from Disney’s Frozen sung by local vocalist, Cassie Torres McNabb, a cello solo by Corpus Christi Area Youth Orchestra musician, Marcel Bobe’, and an original score by Haas accompanied by narration by John Chesshir. Of course there was also a visit from Santa along with many traditional favorites like Sleigh Ride and selections from the Nutcracker. Pre-concert entertainment performance was Veteran’s High School Acapella Choir, “The POPpies.”

“There was something for everyone,” stated Haueter.
