On Monday, The Corpus Christi Bar Association, Salvation Army, and the Nueces County Commissioners Court joined together for a “Warm Clothing Drive.”
All items collected will be distributed by The Salvation Army to individuals and families in need in the Coastal Bend area.
The drive was kicked off at the courthouse on Oct. 17 and will run through Nov. 18. Collection boxes will be located throughout the Nueces County Courthouse for donations. All types and sizes of warm clothing for men, women and children are needed. The goal is to exceed the number of items raised in the 2014 drive, which was 700 items.
