Meet Carolyn Ramiez, Beatrice Lopez, and Jake Salcines. These are the December recipients of the district's "Proud You're a Picker" award, a newly launched employee recognition program. Each one of these employees have gone above and beyond their usual job duties to be recognized with this award. They are pictured with Superintendent, Dr. Maria Vidaurri.
-"Coach Ramirez is an all-around great teacher. She recently performed the Heimlich maneuver on a student who was choking during lunch. Her quick thinking and calming presence prevented what could have been a tragic situation. She truly is a hero."
-"Bea Lopez has proven herself to be a dedicated employee of Robstown High School. She has repeatedly created on line remediation units that have been used to help students re-gain credits. She has given up summers to oversee credit recovery during Summer School. She has repeatedly stepped up to the plate to help our students of Robstown ISD."
-"Jake goes above and beyond the call of duty in all aspects of his job. Students notice his positive attitude, hard work, and genuine concern for them. He’s a team-player and we certainly take notice of his upbeat attitude each and every day."
