Sheriff's officials have obtained an arrest warrant Friday for third suspect, Jose Robert Hernandez.

Hernandez, 18, is wanted in connection to July 1 altercation that escalated to a stabbing on County Road 157.

Officials are asking help from the public to locate Hernandez and said he more likely has left the area.

Two brothers, Jacob, 20 and Steve Ramirez, 17, were arrested July 7.

The male victim was stabbed on his lower back and trauma to his head from brass knuckle blows. The victim drove himself to a nearby fast-food restaurant off Highway 281 to get assistance. He was transported to a Corpus Christi hospital by HALO-Flight and received 15 stitches to the head and several staples to close the stab wound, sheriff's officials said.

The victim was released several days later.

The brothers were charged with aggravated assault with deadly weapon.
