FALFURRIAS – On Saturday, February 17, agents assigned to the Falfurrias Checkpoint referred a vehicle to the secondary inspection area after a Border Patrol canine alerted. Upon investigation, agents discovered 10 packages of methamphetamine concealed inside.
The methamphetamine weighed over 30 pounds and has an estimated street value over $1.1 million.
The driver and narcotics were turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
