Fiesta de la Flor has officially been announced to celebrate the life and legacy of Selena Quintanilla Perez. Known simply as Selena and considered the “Queen of Tejano” by her many admirers, the event is set to reflect the many contributions she made to the world of Tejano music.

Regarding the origins of Fiesta de la Flor, Corpus Christi Convention & Visitors Bureau Board of Directors wanted to honor Selena for the hearts that she has touched and the substantial contributions that she has made to the culture of Corpus Christi.

Located at North Bayfront Park in downtown Corpus Christi, this celebration will showcase well-known Tejano musicians; featuring Madame Tussauds Hollywood Selena wax figure, artisan vendors from around the state of Texas; culinary delights from specialty local & regional food trucks, Kids Zone for families; a fabulous fireworks finale and much more along a beautiful backdrop of the Corpus Christi Bay.

Fiesta de la Flor will be held Friday and Saturday, April 13-14.

Saturday’s line-up will present a day filled with musical stylings by Tejano’s hottest acts.

Entertaining crowds will be headliner and multiple Latin Grammy-Award-winner and fantastically talented acts of Grammy Award-winners Los Palominos, Becky G, Hometown Boys, The Mavericks, Elida Reyna and others.
