Not even a wet and blustery day could keep the NJROTC cadets from Tuloso-Midway High School from completing their assigned clean-up duties during the Spring 2018 Beach Cleanup Day. Many groups from all over the Corpus Christi area braved occasional downpours and gusty winds to help keep the coastal area beautiful. The cadets picked up more than 150 pounds of misplaced trash.

Cadet/Commanding Officer Keirstan Gonzales led her troops in the effort saying, “It is sad to see so much garbage littering our roadways and beaches. It is our pleasure to help the Texas General Land Office keep our beaches and bays clean for the animals who live there.”
