Thirty-five NJROTC cadets from Tuloso-Midway High School spent much of their Saturday picking up trash to help their city look clean and sparkling.

They began at North Beach and worked their way towards the JFK Causeway. They picked up over 275 pounds of trash that was littering our roads and highways.

Cadet Commanding Officer Keirstun Gonzales commented, “The mosquitoes was ferocious this morning due to all the rain we have been having but we used lots and lots of bug spray and completed our mission. The roads look good now for all the visitors who come to Corpus Christi.”
