Tuesday, Sept. 10 marks the peak of hurricane season. While there has been only one or two hurricanes in the Atlantic to impact the Texas coast this season, September and October are traditionally known for harboring storms that have impacted Texas shores.
“This is not the time to let our guard down,” said Dr. Philippe Tissot, associate professor in the College of Science and Engineering and associate director of the Conrad Blucher Institute (CBI) at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
