Holly J'nette Miller of Annaville and Matthew Lee Williams of Calallen were united in marriage January 5, 2008 at 2:30 in the afternoon at River Hills Baptist Church.

The ceremony was officiated by Brother Bill Simmons, with opening remarks about "A Marriage of Faith" by Steven Gaither.

The bride is the daughter of Darrell and Patricia Miller. The groom is the son of Eugene and Janene Williams.

Holly is the granddaughter of Maxine and the late Billy Wayne Miller and Dale and Norma Bennett and great granddaughter to the late Roy and Verda Bennett and the late M.J. and Louise Dupre. Matthew is the grandson of Helen and the late Jack R.L. Buck and the late Eugene and Billie Williams.

Escorted down the aisle by her father, the bride wore a silk taffeta formal dress with a veil, made by her mother, edged in organza ribbon. The bolero she wore over the gown was designed by Cheryl Stubblefield.

Holly wore a white pearl necklace and earrings matching all her attendants, mother and mother-in-law that she had given to them. She carried a bouquet of white roses accented with lemon leaves.

The maid of honor was Brittany Miller, sister of the bride. The matron of honor was Necia Aynes, also sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Aimee McCrite, Nicole Bennett and Brooke Miller, all cousins of the bride.

The bride's attendants wore marine blue taffeta long gowns, accented with french tucks.

The best man was Luke Williams, brother of the groom. The groomsmen were Luke Thornton, Justin Chapman and Tony Brannon, all friends of the groom.

Cameron Cantu, friend of the groom, carried the rings down the aisle and gave them to the maid of honor and best man as he walked onto the stage.

The ushers were Joshua Crisp (cousin of the bride), Justin Melton and Eddie Wells (both friends of the bride and groom).

Debbie Brubaker played traditional wedding music on the piano for the ceremony.

The ceremony was followed by a reception in the sanctuary where John Cadena provided background music with his guitar, while pictures of the bride and groom's life were displayed on a slideshow. The guests enjoyed a fruit punch served by Marilyn Wells and Ginny Fahl. The groom's two-toned chocolate cake had printed on the base: "Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together!" from Psalm 34:3. Andrew Aynes (brother-in-law of bride) and Nathanael Johnston (friend of bride) were the servers. The bride's cake covered with white roses, arranged by JoAnn Stovall, was served by Paula Seaman and Dana Haubelt. All of the cakes were created by Shannon Cantu.

The family wants to thank all those who helped with the wedding, those mentioned above and also: Andi Estes, Paula Seaman, Corentin Galan and Enjoli Claire for helping the family decorate the sanctuary, Mike Carlisle, Shereen and Jake Bickham, Jean Carol, Sara, Kristina and Douglass Miller for all the snapshots/videos they captured, Ray and Kitty Patrick and Julie Strayer for all their help in the kitchen, and last but not least JoAnn Stovall, Roy Walker, Britt Murray and Debbie Sanderfer.

The bride is a home-schooled graduate who worked at Millers' Bar-B-Que then Alexander's Creations Unlimited before getting married. The groom is a graduate of Calallen High School and Texas A&M University of Corpus Christi.

He worked for River Hills Baptist Church with the student ministry for three years and is currently employed as the church's I.T. Coordinator. The couple is now living in Fort Worth while he is attending Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
