Miss Martha Ann Salazar and Mr. Eduardo Rodriguez were united in marriage Feb. 16 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Robstown at4:30 p.m. Officiating at the ceremony was Father Williams.

The bride is a graduate of Robstown High School and Texas A&M University-Kingsville. She is currently employed as an elementary teacher with the Robstown I.S.D. The groom is a graduate of Richard King High School and Texas A&M University-Kingsville. He is currently employed as a math teacher at Richard Milburn Academy High School in Corpus Christi.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar H. Salazar. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Francisco Salazar and Ms. Hortencia Mendiola and the late Jose Mendiola, all of Robstown.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Santos Ruben Rodriguez of Corpus Christi. He is the grandson of Ms. Sophia Rodriguez of Houston and the late Mr. Jose Luis Rodriguez of Corpus Christi, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernesto Zapata of Corpus Christi.

Miss Jessica Alejandro and Miss Liza Salazar, both of Robstown, served as maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Jennifer Gonzales of Corpus Christi, Mrs. Betty Conde of Corpus Christi, Mrs. Beeta Gualdoni of Eau Claire, Wis., Mrs. Debbie Garza of Robstown, Mrs. Sandra Cantu of Kingsville, Miss Selina Jimenez of Robstown, and Miss Melissa Mendiola of Missouri. The honorary junior bridesmaid was Miss Bethany Munoz of Kingsville, and flower girls were Miss Gabrielle Salazar, Brianna Salazar and Imelda Martinez. Honored attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Roland Martinez of Robstown, Mr. and Mrs. Juan Salazar of Robstown, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar J. Salazar of Kingsville, Mr. and Mrs. Ernesto Zapata of Corpus Christi, and Mr. and Mrs. Tony Johnson of Houston.

Mr. Eric Valdez of Corpus Christi served as best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Adan Contreras of Bishop, Mr. Jesus Guajardo of Bishop, Mr. John Galvan of Corpus Christi, Mr. Jerry Smithwick of Dallas, Mr. Zachary Zapata of Corpus Christi, Mr. Brian Salazar of Robstown, and Mr. Brian Reed of Eau Claire, Wis. Ring bearer was Paul Ruben Salazar and ushers were Roland Martinez and Joshua Bayardo.

Following the ceremony, the reception took place at the Bayfront Plaza Hotel in Corpus Christi, with music provided by the Tex-Mex Kadillaks of Pharr. After a honeymoon in May to the West Caribbean, the couple will reside in Corpus Christi.
