Beginning in March, Del Mar College will offer Flex Schedule Spring courses designed to meet students' demanding agendas.

Flex Schedule includes short six- and eight-week courses online, on-campus and at an off-campus location in northwest Nueces County.

College officials will hold two information/advising sessions on Feb. 19 and 20. Individuals can learn more about admissions, financial aid, required testing and available courses. Some students may even be able to register on-site during the sessions.

The first information/advising session runs from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. during the South Texas Financial Aid Fair at the KIII Studio, 5002 S.P.I.D., on Friday, Feb. 19. The second session is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, at Calallen High School on Northwest Boulevard.

Courses temporarily offered in northwest Nueces County at the former Annaville Elementary School (3901 Cliff Crenshaw St.) include English Composition II, Introduction to Criminal Justice, Court Systems and Practices, Medical Terminology, Basic Health Profession Skills, Business Computer Applications, Introduction to Computers, Integrated Software Applications, Emergency Medical Technician Basic and Emergency Medical Services Clinical.

Flex Schedule courses offered on the College's East Campus include English Composition I and II, American Government II: Federal and Texas Topics, United States History II and College Algebra.

Online courses include English Composition II, Mexican-American Politics, United States History II, Principles of Accounting II-Managerial, Business Principles, Legal Environment of Business and Principles of Microeconomics.
