Lacy Marie Covey, a junior at Sam Houston State University, was named to the President's Honor Roll and the Dean's List for Fall 2008.
The President's Honor Roll at Sam Houston consists of full-time undergraduate students who have a perfect grade point average of 4.0 for the semester. The Dean's List consists of all full-time students having grade point averages of 3.5 or above.
Covey, a Robstown native, is majoring in mass communications, with a minor in sociology.
Alyssa Hicks of Robstown was named to the Judson College Dean's List for the 2008 fall semester.
To be considered for this honor, a student must register for at least 15 hours and have earned at least a 3.7 (of 4.0) grade point average, with no grade below a "C."
