The City of Robstown Municipal Court has enlisted officers with the Robstown Police Department to conduct a warrant roundup that began last month and will carry into March.
Police Chief Johnny Brown said five officers are working on the roundup, which is conducted every Saturday. The team has already been through two since the operation began, he added.
The roundup was initiated by the Robstown Municipal Court for individuals who have misdemeanor arrest warrants, such as those for failure to appear.
Payment plans are available for individuals who try to take care of the warrants ahead an officer's visit to their home or business, court officials said Monday.
