With that in mind Texas AgriLife Extension Service is offering a Hurricane Prep Seminar, "Hurricanes, Before, During and After," on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Del Mar Economic Development Center located at 3209 S. Staples, in Corpus Christi.
This training is being sponsored by National Weather Service, Texas Department of Insurance, Corpus Christi Storm Water Division, Del Mar College, Texas Farm Bureau Insurance, Nueces County Emergency Management and Texas AgriLife Extension Service.
Each participant will be given important literature and each person who signs in will be registered for door prizes.
