On May 16, Seale Jr. High School competed in One Act Play competition for the first time.

The Drama Club produced "Sunday Costs Five Pesos," written by Josephina Niggli and published by Samuel French. Reynaldo Castaneda and Thomas Limon volunteered to coach and direct the program.

In the process, the Drama Club produced what would prove to be the best One Act Play in District 31-3A, which earned the group the district title.

The entire cast, which included Robyn Villarreal, Alexis Almendarez and Celeste Martinez, received all-star accolades including awards for Best Actor, to Joseph Guzman, and Best Actress, to Sabrina Salazar. An All-Star Crew consisted of Vanessa Gutierrez, Jackie Pacheco, Selina Gonzales, Miranda Gonzales, Yamin Delgado, Brandon Garza and Naola Hernandez.
