Registration for the City of Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation's Latchkey Summer Camp is underway.

The summer camp program features a variety of activities such as swimming, tennis, arts and crafts, guest speakers and field trips for children ages 5-13.

Latchkey Summer Camps provides children with the chance to develop character, learn valuable life skills, make new friends and discover new interests.

The program is licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. The staff receives training in child development and age appropriate activities.

All qualifying sites will be provided with lunch and snacks through a grant with the Texas Department of Agriculture.

Calallen Magee Intermediate School, 4201 Calallen Drive; Flour Bluff High School, 2505 Waldron Road; Houston Elementary School, 363 Norton Street; Schanen Elementary School, 5717 Killarmet Drive; Webb Elementary School, 6953 Boardwalk Ave.; Windsor Park Elementary School, 4525 S. Alameda Street.

Hours of Operation are Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Offices will be closed June 15-Aug. 7.

The fee is $76 per week per child. Tuition assistance is available for qualified participants.
