The Robstown Area Development Commission has a new president and executive committee.

Joe Kramer, manager of business development for Miller Environmental Services Inc. of Corpus Christi, was elected president in May.

As president of the RADC, Kramer will serve either a one- or two-year term, as determined by the RADC board of directors. He is responsible for overseeing the activities of the RADC and monthly board meetings.

In addition, Kramer will serve on the RADC's executive committee. The other executive committee members are past-president Noel Aguilar, treasury Frank Wilson, and president-elect Bobby Gonzalez.

"What we want to do is continue to promote economic growth in the area," Kramer said. "The RADC will take a more active role marketing the Robstown area."
