Jamie Lynn Dredla of Dripping Springs and Trevor Wade Truesdale of Orange Grove were married on Nov. 1, 2008. The ceremony was held at Creekside Pavillion in Driftwood, officiated by the Rev. M.J. Meyer of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Austin, and the Rev. Bill Simmons of River Hills Baptist Church in Corpus Christi.

The bride is the daughter of Gary and Debbie Dredla of Dripping Springs, and the granddaughter of Marybelle Taylor of Helotes, Phyllis Dredla of Tucson, Ariz., the late Leroy J. Taylor and the late Harry Dredla.

The bridegroom is the son of Mark and Brenda Truesdale of Robstown, and the grandson of the late M.C. and Mildred Truesdale, and the late Donald and Jeanelle Bryant.

The maid of honor was Leigh Anne Morgan of San Antonio. The bridesmaids were Marka Dredla (sister of the groom and sister-in-law of the bride) of Portland, Bonnie Dredla (sister-in-law of the bride) of Luling, Allison Dredla (sister-in-law of the bride) of Lockhart, and Athena Jaharis (college friend of the bride) of Rockport. The bridesmaids wore various styles of truffle-colored floor-length dresses and carried fall bouquets.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Gary Dredla.

The bride wore a satin and taffeta gown with pick-up skirt and beaded metallic lace on bodice. The dress had a chapel train. The bride wore a cathedral veil and an elbow-length veil. The bride's fall bouquet consisted of roses and six calla lilies, representing the couple's deceased grandparents who were unable to be with them on their special day. The bride carried a small bible with her bouquet, given to her by Ross, Eddie, Leah and Christyn Schumann, special Christian friends of the family when she was born.

The bride's grandmother was escorted by her son, William Taylor, uncle of the bride.

The flower girls were nieces of the bride, Skylar Dredla of Luling, and Taylor Dredla of Lockhart.

The best man was Sean Amrich of Corpus Christi. The groomsmen were Justin Dredla (brother of the bride and brother-in-law of the groom) of Portland, Jacob Dredla (brother of the bride), of Luling, Jason Dredla (brother of the bride) of Lockhart, and Daniel Hoelscher (lifelong friend of the groom) of Houston.

The ushers were A.J. Llewellyn of Corpus, Matt Scarborough of Austin, and Ronnie Villarreal of Corpus Christi. The ring bearer was nephew of the groom, Jonathan Giglotto of Round Rock.

A reception was held at Creekside Pavillion.

After a wedding trip to San Juan, Puerto Rico, they will reside in Orange Grove.

The bride is a graduate of Dripping Springs High School and Baylor University.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Tuloso-Midway High School and attended Blinn College. He is currently employed with Baker Oil Tools in Alice.
