Average retail gasoline prices in Corpus Christi moved just two cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.50 per gallon as of Feb. 8.

The figure compares with the national average that has stayed flat, moving just 0.4 cents per gallon in the last week to $2.66 per gallon, according to gasoline price Web site CorpusChristiGasPrices.com.

Including the change in gas prices in Corpus Christi during the past week, prices today are 70.5 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 7.8 cents per gallon lower than a month ago. The national average has decreased six cents per gallon during the last month and stands 76.1 cents per gallon higher than this day a year ago.
