Sarah Ellis Stone and William Thornton Teten Jr. were united in marriage on May 29, 2010 at the First Presbyterian Church in Corpus Christi. The officiant was the Rev. Mark Charbonneau. Scripture was read by Sharon Sedwick and the bride's cousin, Jordan Winters O'Connell. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Corpus Christi Country Club. Guests danced to the sound of the Tip Tops from Mobile Alabama. On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted a dinner at the Town Club.

Sarah is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bryan Stone Jr. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bryan Stone Sr. of Corpus Christi and Dr. and Mrs. John Satterfield Fordtran of Dallas. William is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Thornton Teton Sr. of Tyler and Austin.

Sarah wore an elegant gown of ivory satin with a knotted satin waistband and cathedral train and veil. The gown was designed by Elizabeth Fillmore.

The Bride's attendants were her sister and Matron of Honor, Emily Stone Wheeler, Lauren Elizabeth Cave, Codi Renee Dueitt, Jennifer Wilson Getten, Carrie Lynn Meyer, Julie Pohl Musselman, Angela McCarthy Picton, Shannon Lindsay Steel, Amy Cunningham Teten, Laura Elizabeth Teten, Christen Todd Tipton, Katherine Connelly Williams and Jennifer Riazzi Wooten. The Groom's attendants were Elliott James Weeks, Best Man, Zachary Edward Bernard, John Benjamin Black, Byler Scott Branson, Justin Lynn Cole, James Houston Edsel Jr., Kirk Montgomery Goehring, Cyril Vance Jones, Robert Gresham Kay, Squire Hamilton Madden, Sachiv Pramod Mehta, Robert Charles Northington Jr., Andrew John Stone and Myles William Weynand.

Sarah received her degree in Business Administration majoring in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. William received an Economics degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Both Sarah and William graduated from the University of Houston Law Center. Sarah graduated cum laude and William graduated magna cum laude.

Sarah and William are both employed at the law firm of Vinson and Elkins, LLP in Houston. Sarah is in the corporate section and William is in the litigation section. After a honeymoon in Australia, Sarah and William will make their home in Houston.
