Deputies with the Nueces County Constable's Office for Precinct 5 arrested a pair of individuals in Robstown last week for allegedly smoking crystal methamphetamine behind a local business.
According to the police report, a deputy constable on patrol observed a 2001 Chevy Cavalier parked behind a bar in the 15900 Block of Northwest Boulevard with its interior light on. As the officer approached, he allegedly saw 51-year-old Robert Kelly Holladay smoking a substance from a clear, glass pipe.
A female passenger, Joanie Herrin, was also in the vehicle, as well, according to the report.
A Corpus Christi Police Department female officer was called to the scene to conduct the search of Herrin. The female officer found nearly six grams of crystal methamphetamine on Herrin's person and in the area where she was sitting. About two grams of the drug was also found on Holladay during the search.
Officers also found a total of three clear, glass pipes with drug residue on the inside of them during their search.
Herrin and Holladay were both placed under arrest and transported to the Nueces County Jail. They are both facing one count each of possession of a controlled substance.
