Preparing individuals for leadership roles for the agricultural industry is the focus of two development programs offered by Texas's largest farm organization, according to Nueces County president Scott Frazier.
Texas Farm Bureau's AgLead and FarmLead programs are designed to improve the personal and professional leadership skills of agricultural producers across the state.
AgLead is a two-year program for those between the ages of 25 and 40. FarmLead is for those over the age of 40. The application deadline for both programs is Sept. 2.
Both programs focus on opportunities to view and learn about the latest techniques and technologies that are in use in all phases of agriculture.
