Robstown police last week arrested a woman wanted for suspicion of prostitution after a tip from the general public led them to her location.

Detective Eduardo Tagle said an anonymous tip was called into the department's hotline to let them know where officers could find 31-year-old Ruthie Anzualda. The call was made on May 21 at about 2 p.m., he added, with officers responding a few minutes after.

Anzualda had been wanted in connection with a six-month undercover operation by the Robstown Police Department, dubbed "Operation Dust Storm," that took place May 15. Officers rounded up eight suspected prostitutes during the bust, with police unable to locate Anzualda. She was found by officers behind the Bank of America at the intersection of Upshaw Boulevard and Avenue A, Tagle said. Anzualda was booked at the Robstown Police Department and then transported to the Nueces County Jail.

Anyone with information regarding any suspicious or criminal activity, and wishes to remain anonymous, is asked to contact the Robstown Police Department's hotline at 387-TIPS.
