Christine Nicole Foy and Cameron Barker Williams were united in marriage on Saturday, June 14, 2008, at 3 p.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in Corpus Christi.
The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Father Bob Dunn. Scripture readings were given by Claire Meurer, aunt of the bride. The groom's uncle, James W. Williams IV, served as soloist.
Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception with dinner and dancing at the Corpus Christi Country Club. On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at River Hills Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of James and Mary Foy and the granddaughter of Mrs. Gerry Foy and Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Meurer, all of Corpus Christi.
The groom is the son of John and Denise Williams, of Corpus Christi. Grandparents of the groom are Barbara Williams of Robstown, the late James W. Williams III, and the late Margaret and Bob Barker.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride selected an all-white strapless beaded lace ball gown with a pick-up skirt and pleated satin sash, featuring a chapel length train. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of white roses, stephanotis and white calla lilies.
Laura Ard, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Erin Harkins and Cara Williams, sisters of the groom, Jessica and Amanda Meurer, cousins of the bride, and Katie Schumacher and Brandi Hoskison. Their pool-blue floor length gowns featured a halter neckline. They carried nosegays of white dendrobium orchids, hot pink roses and yellow freesia.
Flower girls were Kylin Richardson, cousin of the bride, and Mackenzie and Madelyn Baldree, cousins of the groom. They wore white sleeveless floor-length satin dresses with beaded tulle skirts.
Serving as the groom's best man was his cousin, Jordan Hills. Groomsmen were Jason Ard and Tim Harkins, brothers-in-law of the bride and groom respectively, Bryan Hills and Jake Williams, cousins of the groom, and Matt Bode and Jason Harris. Blake Adami and C. J. Ginn, friends of the bride and groom, served as ushers.
Christie and Cameron are both graduates of Calallen High school. She is a graduate of McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas with a master's degree in accounting and is employed with Ernst & Young in Dallas.
The groom is a graduate of the University of Texas where he earned a bachelor's degree in communication sciences and disorders, and the University of North Texas where he received a Master of Arts degree in speech-language pathology. He is employed with the Denton State School.
Following a honeymoon trip to Negril, Jamaica, the couple will reside in Carrollton.
