School officials at Tuloso-Midway High School are looking into a pair of alleged hazing incidents involving senior and freshman students.
Principal Ann Bartosh said the parent of a male freshman student contacted her last week about two alleged incidents that reportedly occurred on July 28 and 29 at the high school. School administrators are conducting an internal investigation to determine the extent of the alleged hazing, which reportedly took place during athletic periods at the end of each school day.
Bartosh said there are indications of senior students displaying "inappropriate behavior" toward freshman students in the school's locker rooms, but added there was no fight or injuries reported.
Athletic director Jose Sendejar and assistant principal Ricardo Cortez are looking into the matter further, she added.
"We're just not going to stand for this (type of behavior)," Bartosh said.
