DRICSOLL - Olga Hernandez Wade, 79, went to be with our Lord on June 28, 2017. She was born on December 17, 1937 in Petronila, Texas to Augustine and Dolores Briones Hernandez. She was a Catholic and a longtime resident of Driscoll, Texas. She was a ground breaker, being one of the first Hispanic females to become a Vice-President for First National Bank of Commerce in Edinburg, Texas. She will be missed by all of her family and friends.
She is survived by her two sons, Dirk Wade (Nora De La Rosa) and Nico Wade; her siblings, Maria G. James of Redondo Beach, California, Juliana Hernandez, Lucille (The late Felix) De La Cruz. both of San Antonio, Texas, Augustine G. (Valerie Darling) Hernandez of Denver, Colorado, Arturo B. (Elva) Hernandez of Premont, Texas, Alfredo B. Hernandez of Rancho Banquete, Texas, CSM Ret. John Paul (Yong Cha) Hernandez of Dale City, Virginia and Hector (Ashley) Hernandez of Corpus Christi, Texas She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Anthony, Joshua, Brandon, Dylan and numerous other relatives and friends.
A Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 02, 2017 at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel in Robstown, Texas. The Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 03, 2017 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Robstown, Texas. Burial followed at Memorial Park Cemetery in Robstown, Texas.
