Sylvia Ann Trevino, 35, died Monday, Oct. 29, 2007, after a long battle with lupus.
She was born Sept. 30, 1972, in Corpus Christi to Roy and Cynthia. She worked for Borden's, Channel 6, and Spherion before she became very ill.
She was preceded in death by her two children, Zachery and Heather Nicole Alvarado.
Survivors are one son, George Alvarado IV; daughter, Samantha Marie Alvarado; her mother, Cynthia Chavez; her father, Roy Trevino; her brothers, James Roy Trevino and Brandon Lee (Brenda) Trevino of Austin; one nephew, Julian; and one niece, Jasmine Trevino of Austin; her maternal grandmother, Angelica Esparza; grandfather, Jose Esparza; paternal grandfather, Gabriel Trevino of Lubbock; her aunts, Helen Perez of San Antonio, Anna Aguirre (Albert), Estella Lerma (Bobby) of Corpus Christi, Janie Puente of Galveston, Diana Gonzalez, and Monica Ybarra (Gavino) of Robstown; her uncles, Michael Esparza (Melissa), Joe Esparza (Belinda) of Corpus Christi, Ruben Martinez (Mary) of San Antonio, and Eddie Gonzalez of Robstown.
A Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, and Thursday, Nov. 1, in the Ramon Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 2, at St. Peter Prince of the Apostles Catholic Church. Burial was in Robstown Memorial Park.
