Consuelo De Leon Castillo, 76, died Sunday, May 4, 2008.
She was born Feb. 5, 1932, in Rivera to Pedro De Leon and Felicitas Garza De Leon. She was a homemaker, a Catholic and a longtime resident of Robstown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andres Navarro Castillo; her parents, Pedro and Felicitas De Leon; and a sister, Angela Ybarra.
Survivors include her children, Richard (Patsy) Castillo of Bluntzer, and their children, Melissa (Servando) Resendez and Ricky Castillo; Rudy (Irma) Castillo of Banquete, and their children, Amanda (Arturo) Hinojosa, Rudy (Samantha) Castillo Jr., Raymond Castillo and Ashley (Albert) Flores; Leticia (Javier Jr.) Carrizalez of Hebbronville, and their children, Javier Carrizalez III and Amy Carrizalez; and Pedro D. Castillo of Robstown, and his children, Eric Watkins, Patricia C. Clark of Corpus Christi, and her children, Deborah Lee (Arthur Jackson) Clark, Robert Lee Clark Jr. and Victoria Danielle Clark; her brother, Jesus (Julia) De Leon of Robstown; 10 great-grandchildren; and host of other relatives and friends.
A Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, in the Ramon Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 7, at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Interment followed in Robstown Memorial Park.
Pallbearers were her grandsons and honorary pallbearer was Jose Edmundo Herrera.
