Maria Luisa Ibanez Garza, 58, of Pasadena died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2007.
She was born in Robstown to Margarito and Maria de Jesus Sanchez Ibanez on Feb. 12, 1949.
She worked for 10 years at Haggar's Manufacturing Co. and over 20 years at Pilgrim's Cleaners.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Margarita Bazan and San Juana Soliz; and two brothers, Jesus Ibanez and Guillermo Ibanez.
Survivors include her husband, Cesario Garza of Pasadena; three daughters, Patricia (Juan) Mendiola of La Port, Sonya Garza of Pasadena, and Shina Lane Garza of Houston; her son, Albert Garza of Pasadena; two sisters, Maria D. Ibanez and Alicia Flores, both of Robstown; her brother, Roberto Ibanez of Benavides; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
A Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 17 and 18, in the Ramon Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19, at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Interment followed in Robstown Memorial Park.
