Leona Eugenia Reagan Berry passed away on Oct. 26, 2010 at The Lighthouse at Altenheim in Round Rock. She was born to Ewen Milton and Bertha Lee South Reagan on July 13, 1924 in Riverside. She lived in the Calallen area and attended Robstown High School, where she graduated in 1940. She attended Banquete High School for her post graduate studies. There she met Albert David Berry Jr. and on Oct. 3, 1942 they were married at Robstown.

Leona was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church of Kingsland, Kingsland House of Arts and Crafts, Hill Country Luncheon Club, Secretary/Treasure of Lakewood Forest # 1 POA and past member of Enid Lioness Club in Enid, Okla. She was a wonderful seamstress, enjoyed oil painting and doing arts and crafts.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, A.D. Berry; son and daughter-in-law, Ronald L. and Rita Schellhamer Berry; daughter, Cheryl A. Berry Balko; grandsons, David Thomas and Nichole Redmond Berry of Schertz, Dallas Lynn and Maggie Clauser Berry of Marion, and Bobby Paul Balko of Kingsland; step-grandson, Dammon Reed and Lisa Talk Wears of Lake McQueeney; great-grandchildren, Dillon, Kelsey and Cassidy Berry of Schertz, Aurora L. Berry of Marion, Bryce, Conner and Kasi Wears of Winterville, N.C., and Trinity S. Wears of Lake McQueeney; sisters, Mary Lee (Damond) Bramblett of Corpus Christi, Kathryn West of Kerrville, Francis Burris of Corpus Christi, Joyce Booker of Aurora, Colo.; and sister and brother-in-law, Claudine Berry and Woodrow Coward of Charlotte; and numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Lung Society, a Hospice unit or a charity of your choice.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Putnam Funeral Home in Kingsland with Reverend Max Copeland officiating. Burial followed at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park in Burnet.
