Dolores Briones Hernandez, 90, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008.
She was born on Sept. 15, 1918 in San Antonio to Castulo and Constancia Fonseca Briones. She was a member of St. Vivian's Catholic Church in Petronila, and a former member of the PTA and a longtime resident of Robstown.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Augustine M. Hernandez; and her daughter, Dorita Hernandez.
Survivors are her children, Maria G. James of Redondo Beach, Calif., Olga Wade of Driscoll, Juliana Hernandez, Lucille (the late Felix) De La Cruz, both of San Antonio, Augustine G. (Valerie Darling) Hernandez of Denver, Colo., Arturo B. (Elva) Hernandez of Premont, Alfredo B. Hernandez of Petronila, CSM Ret. John Paul (Yong Cha) Hernandez of Dale City, Va., and Hector (Mary Ashley) Hernandez of Corpus Christi; her sister, Maria Beltran of San Antonio; her brother, Francisco Perez of San Antonio; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
A Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, in the Ramon Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Interment followed in Memorial Park Cemetery.
