Marian McDonough Hendricks died on April 22, 2009.

She was born in Corpus Christi on July 10, 1932 to Patrick Joseph and Vera Spohn Gallagher McDonough. She was a member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, where she served as a member of the Women's Council.

She was a lifelong member of Nueces County Home Demonstration club. She enjoyed cake decorating, music, singing, water aerobics, and playing canasta and Mexican train with all her friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her children, Joseph Hendricks and Susan Hendricks; and grandson, Matthew Hendricks.

Survivors are her children, Michael Hendricks (Billie) of Kress, C. Tommy Hendricks (Debra), Vera Plummer, Cecile Pesek (Don), all of Corpus Christi, Grace Ferguson (Jesse) of New Braunfels, Leslie McCallick (Bill) of Horseshoe Bay, and Wayne Hendricks Jr. of Wellborn; brothers, Patrick McDonough (Shirley), Dan McDonough (Dolly), and Mike McDonough (Barbara); in-laws, George Hendricks (Mable) and LaMonte Hendricks; grandchildren, Chris Hendricks (Jennifer), Desiree McGaugh, David and Justin Hendricks, Julie Fowler (Brian), Tonya Edens (Justin), James Hendricks, Tracy Hendricks, Steven Hendricks (Shannon), Katie Duncan, Kevin, Paul, Tommy and Maggie Pesek, Nicole, Scott and Allie Ferguson and Kendra Plummer; nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and godchildren.

A Rosary was held at 7 p.m. Friday, April 24, at Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 25, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. Burial followed at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
