Patsy Sue Lane Wallace, 77, of Odem passed away on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009 in Pleasanton.
She was born June 22, 1932 in Edroy to Siance Joe Lane and Lona Merle Hall Lane.
Patsy graduated from Odem High School where she played basketball and volleyball. She was an avid hunter both here and in Colorado, loved fishing and camping.
She also enjoyed her annual trips to Garner Park with the entire family. She was a gardener, loved to read, and was a previous 4-H Leader. Patsy was a retired bookkeeper.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James E. Wallace.
She is survived by her daughters, Judy Jane Wallace (James) Underbrink of Pleasanton, Rhonda Sue Wallace (Warren) Bruce of Midland, and Melissa Ann Wallace Prescott of Austin; her sister, Jo Ann (Calvin) Fagan of Sinton; her grandson, Jason (Tammie) Underbrink and their children, Hunter, Fisher and Tess; her granddaughter, Jennifer (Joel) Pigg and their son Quinten of Leakey; her grandson, Michael Sawyer of Austin; her grandson, Colt (Krystal) Sawyer and their son T. J.; her nephew, Gary (Elizabeth) Fagan and their children, Wesley and Erin; her niece, Brenda (Mark) Mullinix and their children, Brent and Brittany of Sugar Land.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, in the Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Evergreen Cemetery in Odem.
Pallbearers were James Underbrink, Warren Bruce, Jason Underbrink, Michael Sawyer, Colt Sawyer, Joel Pigg, Mark Mullinix and Gary Fagan.
Honorary pallbearers were Brent Mullinix, Wesley Fagan, Calvin Fagan and Darren French.
