Pablo Ramirez Baltierra, 65, passed away Oct. 9, 2011.

He was born July 19, 1946 in Robstown to Guadalupe and Dominga Ramirez Baltierra.

Baltierra was a Catholic who lived most of his life in Robstown and, for the past 12 years, resided in Jacksonville, Fla. He was the owner and operator of Smokey’s Produce, formerly known as P.J.’s Produce, in Robstown.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Julia Baltierra; and two brothers, Rodolfo and Carlos Baltierra.

He is survived by his four children, Oscar (Nancy) Reyes and Jose Pablo (Christina) Baltierra, both of Robstown, Guadalupe (Esther) Baltierra of Jacksonville and Esther Baltierra of Florida; two brothers, Guadalupe (Rosa) Baltierra and Johnny (Celia) Baltierra; three sisters, Josie (Valdo) Guerra, Dominga Baltierra, and Pilar (Polo) Rodriguez all of Robstown; 10 grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends.

A Rosary was recited Oct. 16, 2011 at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel in Robstown. The Funeral Mass was celebrated Oct. 17, 2011 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Robstown.

Interment followed at Memorial Park Cemetery in Robstown.
