Isrie Steven Strobel, 21, of Pflugerville passed away Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009.
He was born in Corpus Christi and lived in Pflugerville since 1999. Isrie was a graduate of the Pflugerville High School, class of 2006. He was employed as a sales representative with Wireless Advocate, LLC since 2008, and had spent the previous four years employed by Best Buy. He had the opportunity to do the things he loved best, meeting people and selling gadgets. His passions were his family and the Boston Red Sox. He loved being with his friends, fantasy sports, and country music.
He is survived by his parents, Mark W. and Mary Lou Strobel; a brother, Ryan Strobel, all of Pflugerville; a step-brother, Nicholas Strobel of Greenville, S.C.; grandparents, Gilbert and Minerva Martinez of Robstown; uncles, Gilroy (Monique) Martinez of Richmond; Gilbert (Hope) Martinez of Robstown; and Jacob (Rosie) Martinez of Robstown; and cousins, Katherine, Victoria, Gilbert III, Danielle, and Isabella Martinez.
Isrie was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Rev. Jose and Santos Torres, and Mr. and Mrs. Agapito (Maria) Martinez Sr., both of Robstown.
Services celebrating Isrie's life were held on Thursday, Oct. 1, at Great Hills Baptist Church in Austin.
Burial followed at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
