Alois Cyril Dornak, 82, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008.

He was born Dec. 8, 1925, in Wealder to Cyril and Mary Pesl Dornak. He was a manager of Snapka Restaurant for over 20 years, a member of St. John Catholic Church and a longtime resident of Robstown. He also served his country during World War II in the United States Navy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Anthony Dornak; and three brothers, Willie Dornak, Anton Dornak and Cyril Dornak Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Lillie Dornak of Robstown; his children, Erwin Dornak of Robstown, Glenn Dornak of Corpus Christi, Grace (Phil) Rodgers of Halletsville, Chris (Tammy) Dornak of Republic, Mo., and Blaise Dornak of Robstown; two brothers, Henry (Lillie) Dornak of Moulton, and Victor Dornak of Jacksonville, Fla.; one sister-in-law, Annie Dornak of Corpus Christi; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Sunday, May 11, in the Ramon Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass was held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 12, at St. John Catholic Church in Robstown. Interment followed in Robstown Memorial Park.
