Adalin Nicole Vasquez, 17, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2009. She was born on May 3, 1992 in Corpus Christi, Texas and was raised by her parents, Richard and Cidalin Rojas Nava. She was a student at Calallen High School where she was the editor and chief of the Wildcat Newspaper; she was a statistician for the Wildcat Baseball team, a member of the Christian Athletes, and a member of the Drama Club.

Adalin was preceded in death by her great-great grandmother, Enedelia Rodriguez.

She is survived by her parents, Richard and Cidalin Nava of Robstown, Texas, her father, Brian Edward Vasquez of Robstown, Texas; her brothers, Richard Andrew Nava, and Antonio Ray Nava, both of Robstown, Texas; her sisters, Demi Nava, Shue Nava and Talissa Nava, all of Robstown, Texas; her grandparents, Jesus and Norma Rojas, Jr., Mike and Yolanda Samora, Edward and Maria Vasquez, all of Robstown, Texas; her great-grandparents, Jesus and Lucia Rojas, Sr., and Maria (The Late Jose Angel, Sr.) Zavala, both of Robstown, Texas; her great-great-grandmother, Eloisa (The Late Juan) Rojas of Robstown, Texas; her godmother, Amanda Carrion of Robstown, Texas; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. on Monday, December 21, 2009 at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel in Robstown, Texas. The Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Robstown, Texas. Interment followed at Memorial Park Cemetery in Robstown, Texas.
