Barbara Ann Durham Cohan, 65, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2007.

She was born June 23, 1942 in Galveston to the late Clara and Jack Durham. She married M. Phillip Cohan in 1975 and they resided in Corpus Christi.

She was a member of the Northwest ReMax Real Estate team, and was a very active "Granny".

She was preceded in death by her parents, her father and mother-in-law and her sister and brother-in-law, Uedora Jo and Eddy Watts.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Phillip Cohan of Corpus Christi; two sons, Page (Maurine) Sacky of Corpus Christi and Stacy (Kelly) Sacky of Round Rock; one daughter, Stephanie Woodruff of Lubbock; six grandchildren, Kristen, Emily, Alexis, Sierra, Zach, and Jacob; one brother, Jack (Charlene) Durham of San Antonio; sisters-in-law, Linda (Bruce) Milford of Corpus Christi, Ann (John) Poole of Lake Corpus Christi, Jan (Tim) Backhus of Seguin; and her nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, in the Sawyer-George Funeral Home with Brother Robert Simmons officiating.

In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to make contributions to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America, Gift Processing Center, P. O. Box 29119, Phoenix, Arizona 85038-9119 or to Ronald McDonald House Charities, Attn: Charitable Accounting, One Kroc Drive, Oak Brook, Illinois 60523 in her memory.
