Tommy F. Dolan, 74, of Corpus Christi passed away Oct. 19, 2009 with his family at his side after a two-year battle with cancer.

Tommy was born Jan. 16, 1935 in Corpus Christi to Frank and Mary Dolan.

He graduated from Roy Miller High School in 1954 and went on later to graduate from Texas A & I University in Kingsville with a degree in Business Administration.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a 30-year employee of Bay Ltd. as a Construction Superintendent.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 46 years, Elizabeth Dolan; and his brother, Bob Dolan.

He is survived by his wife, Becky; daughter, Janet Dolan of Corpus Christi; son, David (Carolynn) Dolan of McKinney; grandchildren, Harrison Thomas and Avery; sisters, Mary (Jerry) Williams of Orange Grove, and Carolyn (Joseph) Prejean of Corpus Christi; brother, Mike (Erica) Dolan of Corpus Christi; step-children, Brenda (Braulio) Smithwick, Lori (Bradley) Myers, and J.R. White; grandchildren, Scott, Chelsie, Lunden, Luke, and Peyton; sisters-in-law, Martha (George) Lemley of San Antonio, Honey Dolan of Corpus Christi, Carolyn (James) Coward of Vidor, and Kaye (James) Smith of Rockpor; brothers-in-law, Jimmy Griggs of Sinton, and Joe (Rosie) Griggs of Alice.

Graveside funeral service was on Friday, Oct. 23, at 1 p.m. in the Gussettville Cemetery in Live Oak County with the Rev. Msgr. Michael Howell officiating.
