The Tuloso-Midway Warriors remain winless in 2011 after falling to the Kingsville Brahamas, 19-14, Friday night. The win clinched a playoff spot for the Brahamas, while the Warriors must win all of their remaining games for a shot at the playoffs.
Down 7-0, Maclovio Reyes scored on a four-yard run for the Warriors to tie the game at halftime. Running back Tyler Smith gave T-M a 14-7 lead following a 77-yard touchdown run. Smith ended the night with as the team's leading rusher with 189 yards on 11 carries.
The Brahamas countered with a 16-yard score from Javiel Rojas, but failed on the extra-point attempt, making the score 14-13.
Kingsville took the lead for good late in the third quarter following a one-yard run by John Houston, making the score 19-14. The Warriors' offense was unable to score the rest of the night.
T-M will return home on Friday to host the Moody Trojans. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
