Sinton was no match for Calallen as the Wildcats mauled the Pirates, 73-39, Nov. 27 at the Calallen gym.

Sinton's Josh Rodriguez was the top scorer for Sinton with 12 points - all of those points came from three-point range.

Calallen's Michael Conroy was the game's leading scorer with 15 points.

While it looked close with the Wildcats leading 14-9 at the end of the first quarter, the Wildcats put on an offensive clinic against the Pirates, outscoring them 27-11, giving Calallen a 41-20 lead at halftime.

Throughout the game the Pirates failed to score more than 12 points in a quarter as a team.

Calallen's next game will be Tuesday against the 5A powerhouse Carroll Tigers at Carroll High School.
