The Corpus Christi Fuel soccer team lost on Saturday to the Rio Grande Valley Ocelots, 5-0.

It was the second time the Fuel fell to the Ocelots, dropping a 1-0 contest on July 3. As a result, the Ocelots won the first ever Stars and Stripes Cup.

The game remained scoreless until Abdiel Amador scored the first goal at the 17:32 mark. Ocelots players Ricky Rodriguez and Miguel Davila each scored two goals.

The Fuel will return home to play Regals FC at Fairgrounds Field on Saturday. The game will begin at 5 p.m.
