Banquete coach Kevin Hermes said his team is still jockeying for a position in the playoffs.
"We played an outstanding first half, but struggled in the second half. We had way too many penalties, and it hurt our field position," Hermes said. "We have a big game against Premont this week, and we need to win to have a playoff spot."
The Bulldogs travel to Premont Friday for a 7:30 p.m. game.
