After suffering an 0-10 season, Tuloso-Midway High School's athletic director has submitted his resignation.

Rodney Williams had been the football team's head coach for four seasons.

The Warriors managed only six wins in those four years and haven't won a game since midway through last season.

The now-vacant position has been posted in local newspapers and high school football websites, school officials said.

Eight to 10 individuals, in-house and from elsewhere, had already applied for the position, school officials said.

Williams had turned in his resignation a week after the 2007 season ended, citing a desire to return to Houston to be closer to his family, school officials said.
