The Robstown Lady Pickers made history as the team played in its first Regional Semifinal last week against the Vista Ridge Lady Rangers.

Unfortunately for the Lady Pickers, their dream season ended, getting swept in the three-game series 5-1 and 3-2.

Robstown finished the season coming in second to the H.M. King Lady Brahmas in District 31-4A.

Robstown began its playoff run with a big win against the Mission Lady Eagles 9-1 in the Bi-District round.

The Lady Pickers had a huge task in the Area round against the Moody Lady Trojans, who were well rested with a first-round bye after winning the District 30-4A title.

Robstown came back from a 3-1 deficit in the seventh inning, to win 4-3, eliminating Moody from the playoffs.

The hot streak continued against the Beeville Lady Trojans in the Regional Quarterfinal. The Lady Pickers had control the entire game, which led to a 6-1 win against the surprising third place team from District 30-4A.
