SAN ANTONIO - For the second straight year, the Calallen Wildcats will be advancing to the State Semifinals. The Wildcats defeated the Kerrville Tivy Antlers, 45-15.

Coming off a great offensive performance last week against Port Lavaca, the Antlers had a tough time scoring. Calallen held the Antlers to just a field goal in the first half.

Leading 10-3 to start the second half, quarterback Preston Dorsey and tailback Marcus Price combined for three touchdowns, all longer than 40 yards, to go up 31-10.

The 21-point cushion was enough for the 'Cats to play ball control for the fourth quarter and milk the clock for the win.

Calallen's semifinal game against Manvel will take place next Saturday at noon in San Antonio's Alamodome. Manvel is coming into the game with a perfect 14-0 record.
