Delma Alvarez Rosales, 61, was welcomed home by Jesus Christ and his band of angels on September 2, 2012. Delma was born on March 11, 1951 to Roque Alvarez and Olivia Gutierrez. Delma was a teacher at Lotspiech Elementary and was employed with Robstown Independent School District for 17 years. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and resided all of her life in Robstown. She was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Roque and Olivia Gutierrez Alvarez.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years of marriage, Domingo Rosales, Sr., of Robstown, Texas; her two sons, Domingo Rosales, Jr. and Devin (Kimberly) Rosales both of Robstown, Texas; one brother, David Alvarez of Robstown, Texas; three sisters, Dalia A. (Israel) Garza, Doralia A. (Apolinar) Escobar, Delia A. (Joe) Martinez all of Robstown, Texas. She was also blessed and adored by her granddaughter, Adalysa Desiree Rosales, as well as, numerous other relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
A Rosary was recited at 7pm on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel in Robstown, Texas. The Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10am on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Robstown, Texas. Interment followed at Memorial Park Cemetery.
