Tuloso-Midway knows firsthand just how much difference a week can make.

The Warriors churned out 647 total yards in a 50-21 victory over Miller on Friday. T-M, which lost to Sinton by 26 points in the season opener, improved to 1-1. The Bucs dropped to 1-1.

Most of the production came on the ground, as running back Tyler Smith rushed for 214 of the teamís 490 rushing yards.

Smith scored three touchdowns on runs of 37, 2 and 72 yards and also hauled in a 31-yard scoring pass from Caleb Rozypal. The sophomore quarterback finished 8 of 10 for 157 yards and two touchdowns, the other a 51-yard strike to Marc Reyes.

Sophomore running back Matthew Dickson also broke the 100-yard rushing mark. He finished with 12 carries for 137 yards, including a 39-yard touchdown run for the gameís first points.
